ERIE – Standard Pacific Homes has begun work on clearing land for Compass, a 487-unit residential development at the northwest corner of Arapahoe Road and County Line Road in Erie.
Compass will consist of about 350 single-family homes and 130 attached units that could be duplexes or condominiums. It covers about 155 acres, and will include a neighborhood park that will be owned and maintained by the town of Erie.
The first model homes are expected to be available by the fourth quarter of this year. Styles and pricing of homes has not yet been determined.
The project is one of several residential projects under way in Erie, including Colliers Hill (formerly called Daybreak), 2,800 units; Erie Highlands, 922 residential units; and Flatirons Meadows, 875 single-family homes.
Standard Pacific Homes is based in Irvine, Calif., and has an office in Greenwood Village. It is building homes at Lookout Village and Prospect Village at Anthem Highlands in Broomfield, and several other communities in Colorado.
